•    Claims arising from crashes with other motor vehicles or vehicles without a motor.
•    Claims arising from accidents such as collisions with an object, overturnings, falls and turning around.
•    Claims caused by third parties or individuals who are not legally liable for their actions, aside from collision cases.
•    Claims arising from fires.
•    Claims arising due to the theft or attempted theft of the vehicle
•    Claims arising from strikes, lock-outs and civil commotions and the activities carried out by government authorities to prevent or mitigate such actions.
•    Claims arising from acts of terror as described in the Anti-Terror Law No. 3713 and sabotage occurring due to such acts and the activities carried out by government authorities to prevent or mitigate such actions, save for the damages specified in Article A.5, Sub-Paragraph 9 of the General Terms of Motor Insurance.

•    Losses and claims arising from theft or attempted theft of the vehicle, as the keys to the vehicle are obtained in ways specified under section “Stolen Key” of the policy (optional coverage).
•    Claims arising due to the replacement of the vehicle’s lock mechanism, required because of stolen or lost keys under the “Lost Key Expenses” section of the policy (optional coverage).
•    Claims arising due to damage caused by rodents.
•    Claims exceeding the coverage of the  Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability Insurance regarding liabilities you may have due to bodily and material damage you may inflict on third parties during an accident.
•    Loss of life or permanent disability, as well as treatment cost claims arising from accidents, with respect to you or other drivers or passengers during your travels in your car.
•    Legal liabilities you may incur in disputes concerning your vehicle, which may arise in the aftermath of an accident, on the grounds of you being the owner or the driver of the vehicle.

Key Loss Expenses
The expenses incurred for the copying of key, re-coding of the alarm and immobilizer, and replacement of the complete key ignition set incurred to secure your vehicle due to a lost or stolen key shall be covered subject to a maximum annual and incident limit of TRY 2,000.
Key Theft
Claims arising from the theft or attempted theft of your vehicle using the original key are not covered by the policy. However, claims arising from the hijacking of your vehicle, or when access is gained to the home or office where you or the person to whom you have assigned the vehicle kept the original key under lock and key, through the use of the lost or usurped original key or by finding a matching key, opening the lock using other devices or passcodes, breaking, puncturing, knocking over, leveling, forcing, murdering, causing injury, using force and violence or threats, or using tools, equipment, or physical agility to breaking down or overcome the locks, with a view to obtaining the original key, leading to theft or attempted theft of the vehicle shall be covered under the policy. Claims arising due to the theft of the vehicle entrusted to a parking lot or valet service in consideration of a document are covered through a joint insurance where the insurer shall be accountable for 85% of the claim figure and the insured shall cover 15%. However, in the event that the parking lot where the risk occurred has sufficient 3rd Party Financial Liability policy coverage and is a taxpayer whose entry and exit from operations are registered, the Insurer guarantees 100% of the claim figure.
Claims arising due to the theft of the vehicle entrusted to a parking lot or valet service in consideration of a document are covered through a joint insurance where the insurer shall be accountable for 85% of the claim figure and the insured shall cover 15%. However, in the event that the parking lot where the risk occurred has sufficient 3rd Party Financial Liability policy coverage and is a taxpayer whose entry and exit from operations are registered, the Insurer guarantees 100% of the claim figure.
Private Belongings Coverage
Private belongings in your vehicle are covered up to a figure of TRY 1,000, subject to the following terms and conditions.
A- Items which are not covered: Any claims regarding jewelry, cash, stocks, bonds, bearer cheques, notes, credit card content, legal suspension charges and antiques are not covered.
B- Mobile phones and laptop computers are covered by the TRY 1,000 coverage figure, subject to an upper limit of TRY 500.
C- The theft and hijacking of related claims arising shall be covered, provided that the vehicle had been locked and a police report regarding the claim had been obtained. However, claims regarding the theft of items left inside vehicles during the night between 22:00 and 07:00 shall be excluded, regardless of the locked status of the vehicle.
No-Claim Status Maintenance Coverage
a) In case the insurer is provided the means for 100% recourse by the insurance holder documenting the case that the counter-party is responsible for 100% of the fault, the no-claims discount entitlement shall not be upset.
b) The no-claims discount entitlement shall not be upset in case of breaking of the front, back, or side windows, or claims regarding the audio-video devices in the vehicle, provided that just one such claim occurs during the policy term and that the overall claim count is limited to one.
c) Aside from the cases covered by paragraphs “a” and “b”, the insured who enjoys a no-claims discount rate of 40%, 50% or 60% shall not have their no-claim discounts reset to zero for one comprehensive car insurance claim for any grounds (other than total wreck and theft claims) in case the policy is renewed by Mapfre Sigorta A.Ş.

  • In the event that the repairs are performed at KaskoJet service locations, the no-claims discount entitlement shall be maintained using the current discount rate specified on the policy.
  • In the event that the repairs are performed at a service location other than KaskoJet service locations, the no-claims discount entitlement shall be reduced by one tier below the current discount rate specified on the policy.

Wear Clause

In contrast to Article B.3.3.2.3 of the General Terms of Comprehensive Car Insurance, the claim shall be paid without deducting from the increase in the value of the car due to the repairs out of the claims figure to be established as a result of the claim. However, a maximum value increase deduction of 50% shall be applied taking into consideration the term of use of the consumables or parts with a limited life, such as tires, batteries, exhaust, and catalytic converters.
Personal Discretionary Financial Liability
This insurance provides coverage against claims related to the insured’s and vehicle operator’s potential legal liability arising from the insured’s use of a vehicle with a mode of use matching the vehicle insured under the present policy despite belonging to third parties, within the framework of the General Terms of Discretionary Financial Liability Insurance, subject to the limit specified on the policy and under the terms specified in Paragraph Two.
his coverage relates to the balance in excess of the Statutory Highways Motor Vehicles Financial Liability Policy and the Discretionary Financial Liability Insurance Policy, if any, for the vehicle which caused the damage. The liabilities arising as a result of the claims to be raised due to the use of the vehicles defined below shall not be covered.
a) Vehicles leased by the insured.
b) Vehicles used by the insured to generate revenues.
c) Vehicles assigned to the Insured on the grounds of an employment contract.
Form of Claim Payment
Once established, the claim figure shall be paid to the Insured in the event that the insured vehicle incurs complete damage, or in the case of partial damage, to the repair location if that is a KaskoJet Service, or to the Insured him/herself if not.
Spare Parts to be Used for Repairs
Original spare parts will be used for repairs in case the decision to effect repairs is taken for a covered claim regarding the vehicle in question. However;
In the event that the original parts are not available in the inventories of the producer/importer operating in the market, and/or;
In the event that the survey report makes it clear that the damaged parts were not original parts, and/or;
The Insured had proposed or accepted the use of “equivalent parts” with a view to reducing the claim figure, equivalent parts, rather than original spare parts, shall be used to cover the claim.
On the other hand, in order to avoid the necessity to require the insured to contribute to the covering of the claim in case of windshield replacements for vehicle Windshield Breakage claims, “equivalent windshields” will be used as replacements. If the insured requests the use of original windshield replacement, the deductible figure specified in the policy shall be applied. The amount in excess of the deductible figure shall be paid by the insured.
Claim Payment Site / Repair Locations
KaskoJet Service Locations will be used for repairs in case the decision to effect repairs is taken for a covered claim regarding the vehicle in question. Windshield replacements to be performed for Windshield Breakage claims, on the other hand, shall be performed at “Tur Assist Contracted Vehicle Windshield Service Locations”.
Determination of Current Value
As per Article B.3.3.1.1. of the General Terms of Comprehensive Motor Insurance for Land Vehicles, the Insured provides coverage for the vehicle specified in the present policy, up to the current value it commands in the market. However, if the special deductible provisions were set at the policy issuance stage, in the case of any complete damage, the deductible provisions stipulated in the present policy shall be applied and deducted from the payable claim figure, using the current market value to be established as follows. In case of complete damage, the “Current value” of the vehicle shall not be in excess of the figure stipulated in the Survey Report in conclusion of the market research to be carried out by the Insurance Surveyor.
Electronic Devices in the Vehicle
The original radio-tape units and speakers are covered even if not specified on the policy, provided that they are part of the insured vehicle’s standard configuration (non-optional configuration) as of the time the vehicle was produced. For any audio-video devices and systems (radio-tape, speakers, amplifiers, TV, DVD-CD player etc.) installed later on to be covered, the brand, type and serial number of the device must be specified on the policy.
The coverage regarding the device in question shall expire through the payment of the claim, in case any one of the devices mentioned above, provided at the time of the production of the vehicle or installed at a later time, is stolen or damaged.
For the new device installed on the vehicle after the claim payment to be covered (enabling the claim for damages in case of a further damage), the brand, model, and series number of the replacement device should be specified in a policy supplement, accompanied by the payment of a premium.

A deductible rate of 20% (twenty percent) shall apply to the claim figure payable for damage repair services made at other service locations (without prejudice to any other deductible provision stipulated in the policy).

You should get repairs for any Windshield Breakage claims covered by the policy exclusively at Contracted Vehicle Windshield Service Locations. A deductible rate of 15% (fifteen percent) shall apply to the claim figure payable for Windshield Repair services to be procured at other service locations.
