MAPFRE Sigorta, which embraces MAPFRE Group’s vision for sustainability, carries out all its activities on this axis. Saying ‘Playing Our Part’ with the goal of building a sustainable future, MAPFRE Sigorta continues to realise its commitments in the areas of environment, society, corporate governance and business in the Strategic Sustainability Plan 2022-2024.

MAPFRE Sigorta develops environmental management and policies to actively protect our planet today and tomorrow in order to ensure environmental sustainability. Within this framework, issues such as energy efficiency, waste management and carbon footprint reduction are addressed. Within the framework of the 2022-2024 Sustainability Plan, MAPFRE Group has committed to achieve a carbon neutral structure by 2030. Within the framework of this plan, MAPFRE Sigorta aims to reduce its carbon footprint by 46 percent by the end of 2024 and 65 percent by 2030.

MAPFRE Sigorta, which is delighted to receive its green energy registration certificates from the International Renewable Energy Certificate (I-REC) supplier organisation, ranked Turkey first among the countries that made the greatest contribution to the reduction of electricity consumption within the MAPFRE Group with a rate of 49 percent. MAPFRE Sigorta also supports the “Zero Waste Project” within the scope of “circular economy”.

  • Ensuring transparency in Corporate Social Responsibility activities and reporting the performance achieved in initiatives in this field on an annual basis in accordance with international standards.
